The Genesee Justice Pre-trial Services program facilitates defendants' release from jail without financial conditions by identifying appropriate defendants for Release Under Supervision (RUS) or Release on Recognizance (ROR).

Genesee County Sheriff’s Office
The Genesee Justice Community Service Sentencing program provides the Genesee County area courts with the option of sentencing a defendant to perform unpaid community service. The program's goals are to be a tool for the Genesee County Criminal Justice Advisory Council in managing the jail population while also holding the defendants accountable to the community for their actions by providing needed services to the community while maintaining community safety.
