Onondaga WG memo
In response to an anonymous complaint filed on December 18, 2025, the New York State Commission on Forensic Science ("Commission") formed a working group to review the latent print section and laboratory leadership within the Onondaga County Center for Forensic Sciences (“the laboratory”). After reviewing documents, meeting with senior leadership, and consulting with the laboratory’s accreditor ANAB, the Working Group identified areas for improvement in both the substantive work and management practices of the laboratory.
