The NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services – Office of Probation and Correctional Alternatives is proud to host a Reentry Simulation.
It is our hope that Alternatives to Incarceration and Reentry Program staff, as well as local, county and state agencies exclusively receiving this invitation register for this impactful event.
This Reentry Simulation promises to be an event where attendees will experience the real-life struggles and challenges that formerly incarcerated individuals experience transitioning from incarceration back to their communities. The goal of the simulation is to raise awareness about the systemic challenges and barriers individuals face during reentry.
At the conclusion of the simulation, attendees will be provided an opportunity to share their insights of the realities returning citizens face. By raising awareness about the struggles associated with transitioning from incarceration, we are inspired to create positive change in communities and across systems.
