The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS or Division) is seeking to establish an agreement with a single Vendor for motivational interview training tailored to strengthen the SNUG Street Outreach Team’s ability to effectively engage individuals at risk of involvement in gun violence through evidence-based practices.
By building skills in Motivational Interviewing, staff will be better equipped to foster trust, support behavior change, and encourage safer decision-making among participants. These services aim to enhance outreach efforts, promote personal and community healing, and ultimately contribute to reducing violence.
