Overview
The State Probation Commission considers all matters related to probation in the State, within the jurisdiction of the Office of Probation and Correctional Alternatives, and advises and consults with the director.

Member Requirements
The Commission consists of the State Director of Probation and Correctional Alternatives, the State Administrator of the Unified Court System, and five members appointed by the Governor, including three community members who have demonstrated an interest and involvement in the field of probation, and two probation administrators and/or officers currently working in the field who have demonstrated outstanding service to the field of probation.
