Overview

The DCJS Office of Probation and Correctional Alternatives (OPCA) facilitates funding for nearly 200 Alternative to Incarceration (ATI) programs throughout New York State. Programs are designed to reduce recidivism, decrease reliance on pretrial detention or the use of incarceration while operating in the interest of public safety.
