The Allegany County Probation Department's Community Service Program is an Alternative to Incarceration Program (ATI) that will screen, interview and accept into the program new clients who will have Community Service as a condition of Probation Supervision, a Conditional Discharge or an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal (ACD).

The Allegany County Probation Department's Pre-trial Release Program is an Alternative to Incarceration Program that screens all pre-trial detainees within 24 hours of their detention (within 72 hours if committed on the weekend) to determine eligibility for ROR or RUS.
