This program began operation in 1980. The Saratoga County Pretrial Services Program is an Alternative to Incarceration Program (ATI) where authorized or requested by the Court to monitor and supervise pretrial individuals. The Saratoga County Community Work Order Program is an Alternative to Incarceration Program (ATI) that allows the courts in Saratoga County and appropriate referrals from out-of-county courts to assign offenders to community service hours as an alternative sentence. The program saves the taxpayer money that could have been spent on jail time, allows the offender to "give back" to the community and helps community organizations by providing free/volunteer assistance, where needed. This agency also refers clients for counseling, educational services, housing assistance, job-placement assistance and mediation.

This program began operation in 1988. Agency services are primarily assessment, community service, court advocacy, field supervision, monitoring and supervision for jail bound, non-violent offenders. This agency also refers clients for educational services and job placement.
